Eide Industries manufactured
and installed the National Radio Astronomy Observatory telescope cover. The observatory is a facility of the National Science Foundation,
operated under cooperative agreement by Associated Universities, Inc.
The custom telescope cover
measures 85' high x 100' diameter and is made of 28 oz. vinyl coated
opaque (blackout) fitted cover. Eide offers design, specification and
engineering services, including shop drawings, construction documents
and load calculations to meet large-scale project specifications. |

printed over 10,000 storage container covers for Public Storage Company.
Each cover was made of 5' x 7' x 8' high weatherproof custom
color vinyl coated polyester reinforced fabric with large-scale screen-printed
advertising graphics. Vinyl
covers includes reinforcing strips, Velcro fasteners, grommets and webbing assemblies.
