Eide Industries manufactured and installed the National Radio Astronomy Observatory telescope cover. The observatory is a facility of the National Science Foundation, operated under cooperative agreement by Associated Universities, Inc.

The custom telescope cover measures 85' high x 100' diameter and is made of 28 oz. vinyl coated opaque (blackout) fitted cover.  Eide offers design, specification and engineering services, including shop drawings, construction documents and load calculations to meet large-scale project specifications.

Four custom canvas stadium section covers with sponsor graphic logos were fabricated and installed for the University of California, Berkeley.

Eide's Sewing and Graphic Departments makes thousands of industrial canvas and vinyl covers for hundreds of corporate identity uses in a variety of shapes and sizes to provide striking, eye-catching signage.

Eide Industries designed, built and printed over 10,000 storage container covers for Public Storage Company.  Each cover was made of 5' x 7' x 8' high weatherproof custom color vinyl coated polyester reinforced fabric with large-scale screen-printed advertising graphics.  Vinyl covers includes reinforcing strips, Velcro fasteners, grommets and webbing assemblies.

Because all protective canvas and vinyl covers are made-to-order, optional graphic application, Velcro fasteners, buckles, snaps and other special features may be specified including padded, water repellant and flame resistant covers for thousands of uses.

Eide manufactures prototype and production storage bags with heavy-duty handles for a multitude of carrying uses.

Custom bags are available with Velcro and zipper fasteners, rugged carrying handles and straps and optional screen-printed lettering, logos and built-in clear identification holders.

Military carrying bags and storage containers.  Eide offers industrial sewing for various applications to meet commercial and military standards.  Military specification products and custom designed items are regularly manufactured.

Prototype canvas and vinyl industrial sewn products for military and commercial applications are available.  These 4-ply thick covers are made of a 28oz. vinyl coated fabric and includes industrial grade buckles, cotton webbing straps and 4" wide Velcro.

This prototype vinyl bladder was manufactured as a component for an air collection bag used in conjunction with an industrial filtration system.
