Eide designs, manufactures and installs custom Weather Protector Canopies for a variety of uses.

This Weather Protector project was engineered to withstand 110MPH wind loads (Exposure D). Thirty-six Weather Protectors (each measuring 30' x 18') were manufactured and installed by Eide on the third floor of a hotel parking structure located in Sarasota, Florida.

This 16’ x 32’ Weather Protector has twelve 7’ upright posts, with a 9” high Solid (Double) Valance.  The frame was manufactured with a combination of 1-1/2” and 2” square tubing which was sandblasted, then covered with one coat of Powdercoat Zinc Rich Primer and one coat of Powdercoat Polyester White Paint.  The Sunbrella® Fabric canopy top is secured to the frame with Grommets and Lacing.

This 30' x 40' fabric structure consists of a galvanized steel tubing frame, exterior grade Patio 500 curtains and roof, and a skylight built into the rooftop and upper walls. The entire system was installed over a hardwood floor and use as a dance studio at a southern California university.

Eide Industries manufactured and installed five 40' x 50' Weather Protectors with 16' upright steel posts for this location in Ontario, California. These Weather Protectors were engineered to withstand 80MPH wind loads.

The canopy cover is made of Ferrari 502 fabric.  The yellow bollards were also manufactured and installed by Eide to protect each of the 6" diameter upright legs.
